Mavova Simba was born in 1990 in Kinshasa (DRC) where he lives and works today. He uses geometrical forms and vivid colors to invoke feelings and psychic states of his subjects. By playing with codes of both optic art and Congolese popular painting he wishes to stimulate viewer’s imagination.
